Day 19 - Do You Prefer The Books Or The Films?

As an avid book lover, I'm definitely going to say that I prefer the books more than the films. But I do appreciate the films for what they are. I like the physicality of the films, I like being able to see certain characters in 'real life'. Many of the characters such as Severus Snape, Bellatrix Lestrange and Tonks were cast perfectly, so I love being able to look at these characters exactly how I imagined them in my mind. But there is something about holding a book in your hands, it just feels so real. The story is complete and you know that it's what the author envisioned and wanted. The films don't have that essence about them.
